Description

Jenolite No Primer Rust Converter removes rust, provides a seal to prevent its return and allows surfaces to be painted over without the need for a primer. No need to wipe clean, simply leave to dry and after just one application your metal will be suitable for over coating with most traditional paints. Provides a strong barrier to water vapour, oxygen and carbon dioxide and offers superb chemical and salt spray resistance. Our tried and tested formula also provides excellent resistance to bacterial growth. Jenolite Rust Converter does two jobs in one — it gets rid of the rust and converts the once rusted area into a stable surface, ready to paint, leaving the metal looking as good as new! How To Use

Remove all traces of oil or grease. Remove old paint and loose rust with steel wool or wire brush.

  1. Prepare the surface

    Remove all loose dirt & debris from the area to be coated. If required, clean and thoroughly dry the area. Remove any previous surface coatings with a wire brush and abrasive paper.

  2. Shake can vigorously before use.

    Apply from 15cm to 25cm in light coats. Do not flood. Apply lighter coats to avoid runs. Apply 2 or 3 light coats, allowing 15 minutes to dry in between coats. For the best results, ensure that the rusted surface is agitated with a wire brush or sandpaper before application.

  3. Storage & Reuse

    On completion of use, invert can and depress actuator for a few seconds to prevent nozzle blockage.
