Jenolite Aluminium Epoxy Putty Stick is a non-rusting, aluminium reinforced epoxy putty. This putty quickly repairs or rebuilds anything made of metal. The two part epoxy resin can be mixed by hand and applied directly to the area that needs repairing or rebuilding. Ideal for repairing scratched, chipped and cracked metal. Once fully cured the putty can be drilled, tapped, machined, ground, filed and even painted. Easy to use, and essential for any mechanic’s store cupboard!

Part of our specialist metal epoxy putty range, Jenolite’s Aluminium Repair Putty is ideal for small repairs on aluminium. Applications include outdoor furniture and window frames, and automotive repairs to car bodies and car parts. To use the product, simply cut off the desired amount, force it into the crack or hole, and leave to cure. The putty will dry and harden within 60 minutes. It forms a stable surface that is ready for sanding, filing, drilling, or painting as desired. Kept in its original packaging, the putty stick can be stored for months or even years, and retained for future repairs.

Jenolite offer a range of epoxy putties, each designed for optimal bonding strength and appearance. Depending on your application, explore the rest of the range to find the perfect product.

How To Use

Cut or twist off the required amount, putting the remaining epoxy back in the tube and reseal with the cap.

Hand mix the epoxy by kneading with the fingers until a uniform colour is formed. If mixing is difficult, warm Stick to room temperature or slightly above.

Ensure to apply within 2 minutes of mixing. Force into any cracks or holes and strike off excess material, preferably with a tool moistened with clean water. When applying to a damp, wet or slowly leaking area, work the mixed material forcefully into the surface and apply pressure until adhesion begins to take effect. Functional strength is achieved after just 60 minutes.
