Description

Jenolite Copper Epoxy Putty Stick is a two component epoxy resin stick, that can be used to repair pipes, tanks, hot pipes and vessels made of brass, copper, bronze and other non ferrous metals. Ideal for plumbing elbows, sink taps and water heaters. Will also seal freeze breaks in pipework. The hand-mixable, fast-setting epoxy putty forms a durable bond that after mixing creates a polymer compound that can be moulded to fit. Once fully cured it is completely waterproof and can be sanded and painted over. Ideal for plumbing emergencies such as repairing leaking hot lines.

Perfect for pipe repair and plumbing applications, Jenolite’s copper epoxy putty stick is the essential plumber’s epoxy. Applications include plumbing elbows, sinks, taps, and water heaters. It can be used on brass, copper, bronze, and other non-ferrous metals.

How To Use

  1. ONLY USE THE REQUIRED AMOUNT

Cut or twist off the required amount, putting the remaining epoxy back in the tube and reseal with the cap.

  2. MIX WELL

Hand mix the epoxy by kneading with the fingers until a uniform colour is formed. If mixing is difficult, warm Stick to room temperature or slightly above.

  3. APPLY TO SURFACE TO BE REPAIRED

Ensure to apply within 2 minutes of mixing. Force into any cracks or holes and strike off excess material, preferably with a tool moistened with clean water. When applying to a damp, wet or slowly leaking area, work the mixed material forcefully into the surface and apply pressure until adhesion begins to take effect. Functional strength is achieved after just 60 minutes.
