Description

Jenolite Underwater Epoxy Putty Stick is a hand-mixable, specialty epoxy putty for repairs to damp, wet areas and underwater surfaces. After mixing, the epoxy resin forms a polymer compound that may be applied underwater (either fresh or salt water) and will bond tenaciously to substrates such as fiberglass, concrete. Ideal for marine repairs and repairs to damp, wet and underwater surfaces, such as holes, cracks, leaks and gouges in decks and hulls, swimming pools, hot tubs, spas, recreational equipment, as well as leaking tanks and gutters.  Full functional after 60 mins, once fully cured it is completely waterproof and can be drilled, tapped, machined, ground, filed and even painted.

How To Use

  1. ONLY USE THE REQUIRED AMOUNT

Cut or twist off the required amount, putting the remaining epoxy back in the tube and reseal with the cap.

  2. MIX WELL

Hand mix the epoxy by kneading with the fingers until a uniform colour is formed. If mixing is difficult, warm Stick to room temperature or slightly above.

  3. APPLY TO SURFACE TO BE REPAIRED

Ensure to apply within 10 minutes of mixing. Force into any cracks or holes and strike off excess material, preferably with a tool moistened with clean water. When applying to a damp, wet or slowly leaking area, work the mixed material forcefully into the surface and apply pressure until adhesion begins to take effect. Functional Strength is achieved after just 60 minutes.
