JENOLITE Primer Filler is a specially formulated high-fill primer designed to correct superficial defects and small imperfections in metal, wood, or plastic surfaces. It creates a smooth, even base for top-coating.

2. Can it fill surface imperfections?

Yes. The high-fill formulation is ideal for filling minor scratches, dents, and surface irregularities, providing a level surface ready for painting.

3. What surfaces can it be used on?

This primer filler is suitable for a wide range of surfaces, including metal, wood, and rigid plastics prior to applying a topcoat.

4. How long does it take to dry?

  • Dry to touch: 10–15 minutes between coats
  • Full cure: 24 hours before top coating

5. How many coats should I apply?

Apply 2–3 thin, even coats, allowing 10–15 minutes between each coat. Additional coats can be added for deeper imperfections or higher build.

6. Can it be sanded?

Yes. Once fully cured, the primer filler can be lightly sanded to achieve a smooth surface and enhance adhesion for the topcoat.

7. What topcoats are compatible with this primer?

JENOLITE Primer Filler can be overcoated with cellulose, acrylic, PU-alkyd, and epoxy paints.

8. How should I apply it?

  1. Shake the can well until the agitator ball rattles freely.
  2. Spray in smooth, even strokes from 15–30 cm away.
  3. Build coverage with thin layers, allowing each to dry for 10–15 minutes.

9. Is it suitable for DIY use?

Yes. The aerosol format is easy to use, even for beginners, and delivers a smooth, professional finish with minimal effort.

10. How should the can be stored?

  • Store out of direct sunlight and below 50°C.
  • Invert the can and spray for 2 seconds after use to prevent blockages.
  • Avoid exposure to extreme temperatures, which may affect drying performance.

1. Only use in well ventilated areas

Remove all traces of oil or grease with a suitable degreaser. Remove old paint and loose rust with steel wool or a wire brush. Shake the can well before use, so that the agitator ball can be heard rattling.

2. Apply in smooth even layers

Spray on to the target surface in smooth strokes from 15-30cm away. Apply typically 2 to 3 coats or as necessary to achieve total and even coverage, leaving 10 - 15 minutes between each application. Once dry, sand the layer lightly for the best adhesion. To fully cure, allow the product to dry for 24 hours before top coating.

3. Storage & Reuse

This aerosol should be stored out of direct sunlight and in temperatures below 50°C. To prevent blockages, Invert the can and spray for 2 seconds. Extremes of temperature affect drying performance. Consult the safety data sheet for more information.
