Remove all traces of oil or grease. Remove old paint and loose rust with steel wool or wire brush.

1.    DEGREASE: Ensure that the surface is completely free from rust & corrosion. Once this has been achieved the material should be degreased using solvents.

2.    MIX: Using a plastic container, mix a solution of Koldblak with 25% concentration (three volumes of water and one of koldblak) at room temperature (15-25°C). Once mixed, immerse the item for a period of 5 – 15 minutes.

3.    RINSE & FIX: Remove all traces of oil or grease. Remove old paint and loose rust with steel wool or wire brush. Fix the black finish by treating the part with an oily protective product.

4.    PROTECT: Once dry, you can protect the finish using a water repellent of your choice, such as paraffin wax or an alternative oil-based product. The blackening layer fully cures after 24 hours.

Consult the safety date sheet before use. Not for stainless steel.
